The Captains General House, also known as Casa Alvarado Bracamonte, is one of the key civic residences in La Laguna’s historic centre. Its courtyard, timber galleries and stonework illustrate the domestic architecture of the city’s most influential families.
The house forms part of the urban fabric that developed when La Laguna was Tenerife’s principal administrative and cultural centre.
Visitor information
It is centrally located and easy to combine with Plaza del Adelantado, Casa del Corregidor and other historic houses on foot.
