Corregidor House (Casa del Corregidor)

Casa del Corregidor stands beside Plaza del Adelantado and belongs to the oldest civic core of La Laguna. Its carved stone façade is one of the building’s defining features and contrasts with the whitewashed and timber-fronted houses around it.

Its location beside former administrative buildings helps explain how political authority, trade and elite residence were concentrated around the square in the early city.
