Boca Cangrejo Volcanic Landscape

Boca Cangrejo forms part of the broad volcanic field surrounding the central Teide complex. Cones and lava surfaces in this area show how repeated flank eruptions built new terrain away from the main summit.

The site is most useful as a landscape-reading stop, especially for visitors comparing different lava textures and the way vegetation gradually returns to disturbed ground.
