About this place
The Fasnia and Güímar ravine is a protected Natural Monument representing the steep, dry landscape of southeast Tenerife. Its walls and channels support a wide range of habitats from pine woodland to dry tabaibal.
The rocky cliffs are especially valuable for rupicolous plants that grow directly from crevices and ledges, including endemic species adapted to extreme exposure.
Visitor information
The TF-28 crosses the ravine between Fasnia and Güímar. Use safe stopping points and avoid entering steep channels during unstable weather.
