Teno & the West
Monte del Agua Forest
One of Teno’s most important forest landscapes, with laurel woodland, misty ridges and trails between the northwest mountains.
Nature & ForestsHiking
Monte del Agua preserves an important area of humid forest in the Teno massif. The woodland forms part of the green upper slopes that contrast with the much drier coast below.
Walking here gives a sense of Teno before modern roads, when forest paths linked scattered settlements across steep and often cloud-covered terrain.
