Why La Caleta feels different
La Caleta sits at the quieter western end of Costa Adeje. It has grown into a popular dining area, but the small waterfront still feels more village-like than the dense resort strip around Fañabé and Playa de las Américas.
The best reason to come is simple: walk the coast, eat seafood, watch sunset and use La Caleta as the starting point for nearby beaches that feel less urban.

1. Walk the waterfront
La Caleta works best on foot. Follow the seafront, pause at the small bathing areas and use the village as the endpoint of a longer Costa Adeje promenade walk.
2. Eat seafood
Seafood is one of the main reasons visitors come to La Caleta. Restaurants range from casual fish-focused venues to destination fine dining.
3. La Enramada
La Enramada sits just east of the village and feels noticeably more open than the main resort beaches. It is useful for a quieter beach stop or a sunset walk.
4. Diego Hernández
For a more natural cove, Diego Hernández is reached on foot and has no guarantee of services. Bring water, suitable footwear and sun protection, and avoid rough sea conditions.
