The Museo y Parque Etnográfico Pinolere preserves the material culture of the rural communities of the Orotava highlands. Restored traditional buildings and exhibits explain crafts, agriculture and the practical realities of life in Tenerife’s humid northern midlands.
Pinolere is especially associated with traditional straw-roofed dwellings, basketry and craft traditions. The park is also known as the setting for one of the Canary Islands’ major annual craft fairs.

The park is in the higher, cooler part of La Orotava municipality. Bring an extra layer compared with the coast and check current opening arrangements.
