The Museo de Artesanía Iberoamericana de Tenerife occupies the former Dominican convent of San Benito Abad in La Orotava, a historic building dating from the 17th century. Its permanent collections explore craft traditions from the Canary Islands, Spain and the wider Ibero-American world.
The museum combines heritage architecture with collections of traditional techniques, objects and design, making it one of the strongest places on the island for understanding craftsmanship as both cultural history and living practice.
